Create a business plan that will detail what is needed to run the business, how much money is needed for start up costs and the cost of necessary supplies. This business plan is vital for a business to be successful. If financing is needed, the business plan must be precise and detail all aspects of the business. This includes, but is not limited to monthly expenses, monthly profit projections and a long-term projection for the business.

The licenses needed depend on thelocal laws. Every restaurant does need a food license, Federal ID Number, State Sales Permit and any other pertinent licenses governed by the community.

Pizza RestaurantThe next thing needed to start the pizza restaurant is the pizza oven. This should be a double or triple rack oven. The more pizzas tat can be made at a time will mean more money and satisfied customers.

The refrigerator should be industrial so it has enough room for all the condiments, toppings, sauce, dough and any other supplies needed to make pizzas.

A rolling machine is needed to make the pie shells. The dough machine is needed to make the dough. Both of these should be restaurant size to handle the number of pizzas that will be made

Pans and utensils are necessary to run any pizza business. Sauce ladles, dough pans, saucepans, topping containers and other utensils are needed to properly make pizzas.

The soda dispenser is need for any pizza restaurant. Even deliver only pizza restaurants will need to have a refreshment available. This equipment can be rented from Coke or Pepsi companies along with the soda supplies.

A cash register, menus and order books are need to keep track of the orders and money taken in. The menus are needed so customers can order exactly what they want.

All the supplies needed to make pizzas must be ordered from a distributor. What is ordered will depend on the type of pizzas being offered.
